Engagement Photoshoot at Stanford

Last weekend we finally got around to doing our photo shoot. Melanie, Milton, Kim, and Yi were of great help!!! Check out my flickr.

The D70s's, 18-200, 18-55, 80-200 lenses were all given opportunities to shine and the results are abosolutely radiant. Thanks Yi and Milton on a job well done.

Special big thanks goes to Melanie, our makeup/hair/flower specialist who woke up at 6AM to pick the flowers!!

The pictures set on the Stanford campus at dusk was just beautiful and it was a lot of fun.

My 2 months of intense training culminated in total triumph as I cross the finish line at the San Francisco Marathon 14 seconds ahead of my goal and 18 minutes better than my previous effort. Here's how it happened.

4:45 Breakfast at Palace Hotel with Jamie.. Banana and Powerbar
5:30 Met up with Jason at the start line.
5:50 Mile 0.... My wave starts
Mile 7 Saw Milton on the Golden Gate Bridge taken pics. Cruising.
Mile 13.1 1:53 Half Marathon.. my best time yet..
Mile 13.5 Jamie cheers me on at Golden Gate Park.
Mile 18 Running out of gas, slowing to a 10min pace, didn't think i'm going to make the 4 hour goal.
Mile 21 Beginning to get my wind back again. Speeding up again.
Mile 23 Nothing left, ready to stop. Given everything i got.
Mile 25 11 minutes to complete final 1.2 miles.. it'll be close.
Mile 26 Milton and Jamie Cheering....
Mile 26.2 I can't believe it... made it by 14 seconds.
10AM Can't walk but reporter from China Press started interviewing us.
